“The Poop Song” by Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches

We have this on going joke about how when either one of us is grumpy or not in a good mood we say “you got poop in your butt, go get the poop out” We have found this to be mostly true as we encounter in the medical field many a persons acting out when in fact are just full of poop and need to get it out. So we wrote a song about it…here it is…

Lyrics

If you’re feeling in a rut
Get the poop out of your butt

If you’re acting like a fool
maybe it’s just all that stool

Chorus
Get the (get the poop)
Get the poop out of your butt

If it’s stress that you are holdin’
maybe exercise your colon

If you’re acting like a grump
you should try and take a dump

Chorus

If you’re feeling kinda moody
maybe open up your booty

If you can’t just keep your cool
drop the kids off at the pool

Chorus

When you can’t shake off the cranky
you can shake off Mr. Hanky

Feeling irritable and ho hum
channel your irritable bowel syndrome

Chorus

When you are inconsolable
they make adult diapers disposable

If it’s emotions you’re investing
maybe check your large intestine

Final Chorus

Get the poop out of your butt

“The Dad Song” by Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches

Your family neighborhood Sandwiches have been hard at work on a set of comedy songs. We have been writing for the past few months and have a handful of songs done and more in the writing stages. Our plan is to start playing some open mics and see where it goes!

This first release is the song we just call Dad Song. It’s about mostly blue collar white American dads, ok mostly just Joe’s dad. But we hope everyone enjoys it and stay tuned for more songs to be released as we find time to record them!

So without further ado here it is…

Episode 21 w/ Andy Schneider

Hello ladies and gentlemen! This week we had the great pleasure of sitting down with Andy Schneider, frontman of Denver band Calder’s Revolvers. He’s a Denver native and has a lot of love for the Mile High city. We talk a little bit about his beginnings in music, ranging from jamming out with his dad’s band at home, jazz-themed summer camps and moonlighting in punk and ska bands. We crack jokes about less sad rock and more dad rock, fecal themed bands, and platform flip flop Jersey girls. Today, Calder’s is his full-time project, with a recent stint at SXSW and a nomination in Westword’s Music Showcase, along with a variety of local shows keeping this awesome band going full force.Check out some of their upcoming shows below, and give the new demo song a listen!

Episode 20 All The Jokes

Well ‘ello there! This week we covered a few new jokes, including, but not limited to: Pattie Boyd licking George Harrison’s teeth, a multi-holiday version of “Mambo #5,” how to get Beetlejuice to go away, severely misinterpreting the lyrics to late-nineties Santana songs, two foot tall Paul Simon (Small Simon) and Sir Paul McCartney not knowing the lyrics to his half a century old songs.

We should mention that after the recording of this podcast we realized that we were sorely incorrect in the telling of the Harrison-Clapton-Boyd love triangle, so don’t fact check us on that. Still, we like our re-telling a little bit better.

Pattie “Teef Liquor” Boyd

In addition, “Maria, Maria” is in fact not a Santana-Rob Thomas collaboration, although it’s safe to say we all wish there were more of those. We had a lot of fun expanding on jokes and making new ones. We hope you enjoy!

Episode 6 – Kobilcast f/Andrew Kobil

Howdy folks!

Today’s episode was a blast we had our buddy Andrew Kobil of Hi-Fi Gentry fame on the show and we had tons of laughs.

Music was the topic of the show, terrible music to be precise…We talked about terrible bands and songs and ideas for songs and all the messed up joke songs we could conjure up in our sick heads.

We learned a bit about Andrew and his music he even performed an acoustic version of his song Bold and Blue for the show which can be heard at the end.

Thank you to Andrew for being on and we hope you all enjoy!

The full band version of Bold and Blue (along with some other songs) can be heard on the Hi-Fi Gentry Reverb Nation page

Andrew can be seen playing live with his band or performing improv with his troup Spank Bank at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse so keep an eye our for him!

PS as an exclusive you can listen to the cheesy high school song Andrew wrote without commentary (although I’m not sure why you’d want to…) it’s called My Rescue so enjoy.
