FEOS Podcast Episode 42 – New Format, Who Dis?

We went and changed things up again folks! We are always trying new things and pushing ourselves to be better and this is one of those things.

The NEWWWWWW Podcast format will feature us performing our comedy songs along with some skits and stories via our weekly band practice. This version will be the “highlights reel” where we introduce song and joke ideas that will ultimately be worked into our live shows. Laughs will be had, notes will be played (and read) and guests are encouraged to reach out to be on the show! We look forward to bringing joy and fun to all.

So here is the first new format episode on our YouTube and if people are interested full episodes can be made available on our Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and more so reach out with some feedback we would love to hear what you think!

This has been a slow growing project over the past few years of a married couple trying to find the right outlet for our silly creative ideas and humor so we hope you all enjoy the every changing and growing idea that is “Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches” and at the very least enjoy the ride because that’s what we are doing!

So much more to come like more podcast episodes new skits and songs stay hyped!

Finish Each Other’s Sandwiches does the “Hot Ones” challenge

You heard that right folks! Grace and Joe have gone and spent their hard earned money on some hot sauces and decided to run the gauntlet…

One of our favorite YouTube series is Hot Ones so we had a blast making this. There was a lot cut out due to cooking, crying, and carrying on and I was able to get it down to under an hour so BE HAPPY IT’S NOT LONGER… But no matter. We laughed. We cried, and we rejoiced. This was a fun time for sure and besides the stupid auto focus on the phone cameras I’m also happy with how the video turned out so enjoy all our hard work and visual suffering!

This is us at our core. We love to tell stories and laugh and make jokes so join us on this adventure of spice and stay tuned for more silliness to come…

Future (and some past) episodes of the podcast will be on iTunes and Spotify, so for all of those new comers to our site keep your eyes peeled for that very soon!

Until then…

FEOS Podcast Episode 40 – w/Joe Pane (part 1)

I can’t believe it took this long to get JP on the show but here we are. Joe Pane is one of our best friends and we were so happy to finally get a chance to sit down with him and hit record. We didn’t plan anything just talked and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company.

There is nothing to promote or plug but we did talk about our sponsors this week Joe Pane’s Propane for all your propane needs (not associated with Joe Pane the guest). We talk about how we became friends, bands we played in, concerts we attended, celebrities we’ve met, trips we’ve been on, films we made I’ll post links below for some of that.

So if you want to hear some good friends make each other laugh and reminisce about our organic relationships take a listen and stay tuned for part two where we argue about The Last Jedi and more…

FEOS Podcast episode 39 – Poconoscast

29313638_748693835894_8932108056582422528_o

Yes it’s another show about another road trip we took SO WHAT…

We decided to mosey to the Poconosey mountains where Joe spent most of his childhood. From Perkins to slowly driving past his childhood home to Camelback Mountain, we laid the memories on as thick as a Pennsylvania pretzel. This is a re-telling of all the little things we did on this weekend getaway, with a few discussions of nostalgia (the merits of Blockbuster video and video game rentals) salt and peppa-ed along the way. You’ll hear the classic vacation struggle story: trying to win a Jewish TY Beanie Baby Lion from a claw machine in a local brewery (it doesn’t end well, oy vey!). We were also in PA during the Superb Owl, but could’ve cared less. Unless, of course, football games were just the mascots fighting, which we think is WAY more interesting. Finally, we let the journey come to a close reflecting on your childhood, memories good and bad, and how this place you once called home helped bring you to where you are today. Thanks for listening, and go EAGLES!

FEOS Podcast Episode 36 – The Last Jedi (A Love Story)

So this is mostly a review (aka why we loved it) of the newest Star Wars film The Last Jedi. We talk about it after seeing it a third time so it’s very vivid and fresh in our minds so it’s best if you like just watched it ha.

We also tell a few jokes to buffer the long high praise rant about one of our favorite films. Dad meme jokes and more Snickers stories for anyone not interested in the rest of the show. So give it a listen or don’t, live your life!

ren and rey

This is my “Jack and Rose”

Basically this movie has gotten a crazy amount of backlash from “Star Wars fans” about being garbage and that’s fine if this movie made you so mad that it did one thing or another to mess with your interpretation of the SW Universe I get it. But don’t be a dick. It’s just a movie and some people really enjoyed the movie. My goal isn’t to convince people to like it and I don’t want anyone convincing me to NOT like it. Cappesh? haha Let’s be entertained!

That’s that.

Also regardless of your stance on TLJ or any Star Wars movie everyone can agree that this is still like the funniest SNL skit

MY MUFFIN, MATT!

Ok all enjoy your day and go look at other posts on here for more jokes and stories from us!

FEOS Podcast Episode 26 – Animalcast

Hey folks, we’ve cooked up another one for you, hot and ready! In this episode we talk about animals; how we love them, view them, own them and eat them. We also delve into a little bit of our camping travels and how we cross paths with animals.

Animals are a source of joy for us, and we make them so whether they like it or not. Snickers, for example, our traditional domestic house cat has her own personality, which we most certainly assigned to her. She’s vulgar, she’s messy and she loves to dance to Elton John. Our Yankee bunny to the north, Ginger, lives a life of luxury on Long Island. A life better than most children can even dream of. Characters aren’t limited to just ones we know personally, but also those we see in their natural state. Wild animals are part of many an inside joke, which no one else heard of, until now…

There’s also a little dash of some anecdotes involving meeting our favorite animals, but more to come soon on that (come soon on that). Animals are awesome, and chances are you know one, have seen one, or yes, have even eaten one. So you should totally sit back, put a cat on your lap and a pup at your feet and enjoy this ‘cast we’ve crafted up for you!

Videos of said Pika that we saw at Guenella Pass will be in the next video blog episode so be sure to check that out

Episode 19 w/ Mara Wiles

This week we had the pleasure of sitting down with another local Denver comedian! This time it was the lovely Mara Wiles. She was a delight to talk to and just a great funny gal. We got to talk all about getting started in the Denver scene and who inspired her. She told us about a terrible show at a cattle dog rescue in a strip mall winery, some of her favorite jokes by fellow local comedian Aaron Urist and we read some one star reviews of Red Rocks. Lots of real talk and nice conversation worth a listen. So try it on for size!
